How to connect your Apple Watch?

Watch this quick tutorial or follow the step-by-step instructions below

Follow these easy steps

Download the Mobile App (New Users Only):

Go to the App Store on your iPhone
Search for "PlungePalz"
Download and install the app to your iPhone and the WatchOS app will automatically install on your Apple Watch. If you already have the mobile app installed, you can skip this step.

Update Your PlungePalz Mobile App (Existing Users Only):

Ensure your PlungePalz mobile app is Version 1.7.0 or higher. If you are on an older version, please update to the latest version and the WatchOS App will automatically install on your Apple Watch. To know what version you are on, open the PlungePalz mobile app and go to "Settings" and you will see "Version" in the top middle of the screen.
Update from the App Store if needed

Begin Pairing Process:

Open PlungePalz mobile app → "Settings"
Select "Connect Apple Watch"
Click "Begin Pairing Process"
Select the subscription plan that works best for you

Select Your Device:

Choose your specific Apple Watch model from the list
If your Apple Watch model isn't in the list, just select the "Compatible but not listed" option

Complete Pairing

When prompted for the 6-digit code on your phone:

Launch PlungePalz app on your Apple Watch
You'll see "Not Paired" initially – that's normal!
Press the "Pair" button on your Apple Watchto generate your 6-digit pairing code

Additional tech info:

This code will change every 45 seconds (the white progress indicator)
Your watch needs to have an internet connection to pair – you will see the WiFi icon change once your watch has confirmed that it has internet access
Every 5 seconds, the watch makes a check to see if you entered in the code and clicked "Pair Device" (the blue progress indicator)
There may be a small delay between the watch success and the mobile app success – that is normal

Enter this code in your mobile app
Click "Pair Device"
Wait for success confirmation on both devices

🎉 You're all set! Your Apple Watch is now connected and ready to record your cold plunge sessions

🚨 PLEASE READ: All compatible Apple Watch models must be running WatchOS 10.6 or higher. This includes all variants and editions of the listed models (GPS, GPS + Cellular, etc.). If your specific Apple Watch model isn't listed above, select "Compatible but not listed" during the pairing process. Please ensure that PlungePalz did in fact install on your Apple Watch before making the in-app purchase, if you make the purchase for an incompatible watch or mistakingly made the purchase, you will not be refunded.

How to Use

Start Session

You are able to select your last session (if recorded one in the past on your watch or mobile app) or start a new one.

Session Activated

You will see a beautiful UI when you start your session showing:

Timer
Water Temperature
Checkpoints
Active Heart Rate

End Session

After pausing your session, you can either "Finish" (Save), "Continue", or "Delete" your session.

View in App

Open the PlungePalz mobile app to see detailed analytics and share with the community.
